Technical details
KLANN Anlagentechnik offers core shooting machines for all common core-making processes, including Cold-Box, Hot-Box, CO₂ and Croning. The systems have proven themselves in various applications for more than 30 years and are available with shooting volumes from 3 to 40 litres.
In addition to stand-alone machines, complete systems are available as fully automatic core production centres, including sand feeding, binder addition, mixing units and core handling.
KLANN core shooting machines have proven themselves in practice for decades and are mainly used in 3-shift operation. Machines are available for horizontally and/or vertically split core boxes.
In addition to dedicated Hot-Box, Cold-Box or CO₂ machines, combination machines with both heating plates and gassing equipment are available.
KLANN core shooting machines offer:
- High, reproducible core quality through delivery of complete systems including sand processing and conveying
- Short travel distances because the front table extension moves with the machine table, eliminating lifting movements for core discharge and achieving short cycle times
- Laterally movable shooting and gassing unit to remove the shooting cylinder from the core box area after the shot and to prevent the core sand from hardening in the shooting openings and in the shooting cylinder
- Short cycle times through optimized design and process flows and thus high hourly output
- High availability with long maintenance intervals
- Height-adjustable clamping jaws to ensure core box clamping in the middle of the core box
- Complete enclosure with wide access doors for waste heat and exhaust air extraction and as protection against flying sand
- High core box closing forces with precise clamping jaw guidance, therefore low burr formation and correspondingly less rework on the produced cores
